BBBirds
This work, commissioned by a major construction contractor to promote a new residential project, is a modern take on the theme of birds and seasons in traditional Chinese painting.
To put a modern twist on antique aesthetics, I began with reference pieces featuring birds in trees and stylized them into more geometric compositions. Ultimately, the tree branches were replaced entirely with abstract, geometric forms.
