In spring 2022, I was invited to design the visual identity for a hydrosol series by Taiwanese essential oil brand Canjune, in collaboration with Nonzero Farm—a herbal cultivation base located on the Pacific coast of Taitung.
To better understand the project, I visited the farm and joined the team in planting and tending herbs. Grown with natural farming methods and no pesticides, the land is home to countless insects living freely among the plants. Though some may affect crop growth, their presence reflects the purity and balance of this ecosystem.

Nonzero Farm 是 Canjune 香草計畫的耕作基地,由員工們親自從整地到插苗,一步步種出整片香草田。為了深入理解這片土地,我親自前往太平洋畔的台東,與他們一同下田、種植香草。

The packaging design centers on the full form of each plant, combined with subtle details observed on-site. It captures the seasonal rhythms of the herbs and the quiet harmony between people and nature.
這裡以自然農法耕作,不使用農藥,也因此能看見許多自在生活的小昆蟲。即便牠們可能會影響植物生長,卻也象徵這片土地的純淨與共生。純露設計以植物的完整姿態為主軸,結合我在農場觀察到的自然細節,描繪出香草的日常與節氣的循環,傳遞植物與人共處的溫柔節奏。
